Virtual Reality (VR) has made a huge impression in technology today. Its best use till date has been in the gaming area. Players get the feeling of playing in reality or experience real gaming. In the future, Virtual Reality is expected to give an experience of walking into the realm of human imagination. Virtual Reality boosters feel that it will help enhance industry, science, art, education and entertainment.

According to some experts, Virtual Reality is limited to only gaming and will not go beyond this. But with the growth of computers and technology today, it seems like Virtual Reality will also quickly advance with it.

It is said that by 2020, computer systems with the power to deliver immersive, reliable VR will cost no more than today's big-screen television. John C. Briggs, an entrepreneur of VR, said that in the next few years, VR is going to be fully integrated into real life. People will have life-like experiences, say in pilot training simulations or combat training.

It is possible to reduce all the experiences in life to electrical activity that stimulates the brain. Meantime, sensory organs give out information about the external world. "Reality" is nothing but this interpretation. The brain is reality. The brain sees and feels the outside world and interprets it in its own way. In future, VR will probably help people show one another what they feel rather than mere verbal communication. It is expected to connect the gap between human imaginations.

However, people argue about the negative side of VR on the day-to-day lives. It might isolate people from the actual world, can cause people to addict to computers, change social attitudes, may redefine being human and some people may end up liking VR more than the real world. Nevertheless, VR is the future and it cannot be avoided.
