HTC may be creating the latest Nexus model for Google this 2016, according to several speculations circulating the mobile device industry over the past few weeks.

Enthusiasts are anxiously waiting for Google to announce their upcoming Nexus mobile devices but they have not heard anything about it. The anxiousness of avid users started the rumors of HTC making Nexus devices for Google this 2016. These rumors say that 3D Touch screen feature has high probability to be included in the forthcoming Nexus handset line. Then there's the latest Google operating system - Android N - which can naturally work with pressure sensitive screens.

When it comes to the speculated HTC Nexus' design, some think that it could most likely get some physical attributes from the latest HTC 10, which was recently tagged as the most exceptional Android device.  Rumored features like fingerprint sensor comparable to Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P are also being expected from the upcoming HTC Nexus smartphone. In addition, the supposed mobile device could have the edges like what HTC 10 currently has as well as dual speakers in the front, according to MNR Daily.

Meanwhile, although Darren Sng, head of Global Product Marketing from HTC, stated that Google and their company are not engage to any exclusivity bond, the anticipated tie up is not far from happening. Google's huge influence on the latest HTC smartphones is already a statement that HTC has strong possibility to be the manufacturer of the next Google Nexus smartphone, or maybe smartphones in the near future.

HTC and Nexus are admittedly not as huge as Samsung or Apple, although their mobile devices are out and selling fine in the market, it would be a great opportunity for both if Google will be backing them up. Google could help increase the market value of HTC and Nexus if the rumored partnership will materialize. With Google branding alone, the upcoming smartphone releases would definitely add value to these tech companies, Android Central reported.

With all these speculations and hearsays that is yet to be proven, only time can tell whether Google will stay in a non-exclusive partnership with HTC or not.

Google will be holding their I/O event wherein they will introduce and discuss more about their latest operating system. The said event could probably be the venue where Google may announce either confirmation or denial of the circulating rumors about the upcoming Google Nexus phones.
