TP-Link Neffos X1 and X1 Max smartphones with Helio P10 SoC and a 13-megapixel camera have been launched at the IFA 2016 event.
According to Phone Radar, the TP-Link Neffos X1 and X1 Max smartphones have a similar design with a metal build body. They run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. Both devices are powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 chipset clocked at a speed of 2.0 GHz.
The Neffos X1 has a 5-inch high-definition display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and Gorilla Glass protection. It comes in two storage variants with a 2 GB of RAM in 16 GB of internal storage and a 3 GB of RAM in 32 GB of internal storage. It is packed with a 2250 mAh battery.
The Neffos X1 Max has a 5.5-inch full high-definition display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and Gorilla Glass protection. It would be available in two versions: one with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage and another with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The device is packed with a 3000 mAh battery.
The TP-Link Neffos X1 and X1 Max smartphones come with a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128 GB. They feature a 13-megapixel PDAF camera at the back and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. They support dual-SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE.
The TP-Link Neffos X1 and X1 Max smartphones will be available in cloudy gray and sunrise gold color options. The connectivity options of the devices are Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, 4G, GALILEO, GPS/GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1, and microUSB 2.0 port.
The Neffos X1 is priced at €199 ($222), and the Neffos X1 Max costs €249 ($277). There is still no information yet about the availability of these devices. There is also no announcement on whether they will receive an update to Nougat, as Digital Trends reported. Rumors suggest that they will be available during the fourth quarter this year but no specifics with regards to its availability in different regions.
