Windows 10 HP Elite X3 Smartphone With Snapdragon 820 SoC is now Available in the US

The HP Elite X3 smartphone is now available in the United States for $799 through the online store of American mobile company HP.

According to Phone Radar, the Elite X3 comes with an optional Elite Desk Dock included in the package. This dock can connect to a keyboard, mouse, and display. If it is purchased, a 40 percent off on selected Bose speakers is given, and a printer from HP can be bought for about $30.

The Elite X3 smartphone was first introduced in February at the Mobile World Congress 2016 event in Barcelona, GSM Arena reported. It has a 6-inch quad high-definition display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, a high resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, and a pixel density of 494ppi.

The Elite X3 is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset with Adreno 530 GPU. It comes with a whooping 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage that can extend up to 2TB via a microSD card.

The Elite X3 features a 16-megapixel camera at the back and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It sports an iris scanner on the front and a fingerprint scanner at the back. It is packed with a massive 4150 mAh removable Li-Ion battery.

The Elite X3 smartphone measures 161.8 x 83.5 x 7.8 mm with a weight of 195 grams. It supports either single SIM (nano-SIM) or dual SIM (nano-SIM, dual standby). It is available in black color only.

The Elite X3 is designed around the feature Continuum that allows users to use the device as a full Windows computer with a mouse and keyboard.
