The electronics manufacturer Samsung has announced the Galaxy Tab Pro S that will run on Windows 10 operating system.

The Samsung tablet has a 12-inch screen with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels. It is powered by a 64-Bit 2.2GHz Intel Core M processor and is coupled with 4GB of RAM. The dimensions of the device sit at 290.3x198.8x6.3mm.

The S Pen is not featured on the Galaxy Tab Pro S. The tablet comes with an optional Bluetooth pen and is available in white and black, according to The Inquirer.

The tablet will go on sale in specific regions in LTE and Wi-Fi variants from February. The Tab Pro S is the first Galaxy device running an operating system other than Android. At present, there is no information on price.

The Galaxy Tab Pro S, which weighs 693 grams, comes with 128GB and 256GB SSD for storage, according to an International Business Times report. Also, the tablet has a 5200mAh battery.

It has a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter and a 5-megapixel rear-camera. Furthermore, the Samsung tablet supports Bluetooth 4.1 and 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi.

The TabPro S LTE version offers 4G LTE Category 6 connectivity. Also, there is a Micro-USB 2.0 port and a USB Type-C port. It also comes equipped with NFC and GPS chips.

The device comes with a detachable keyboard. Also, there is an optional adapter for allowing HDMI and USB Type-A devices.

Meanwhile, the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 seems to have passed the AnTuTu benchmark test with 820 processor.

Earlier reports suggested that the electronics company may use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor in China and US only. Samsung will use its Exynos 8890 processor for other regions.

As per the benchmark result, the Galaxy S7 will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and will feature 3GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. Also, it will have a Snapdragon 820 processor and house 64GB inbuilt storage. At present, there is no information on the microSD card expansion.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 will have a 5-megapixel front-facing camera alongside 12-megapixel Britecell sensor. It is believed that the technology will deliver better performance under poor light situations together with a wider dynamic range.
