Indian telecommunication firm Videocon has introduced its latest smartphone - the Videocon Q 1 V500K - in India. The Videocon Q1 V500K is now available online on the company's website.
The Videocon Q 1 V500K, which comes with the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop operating system, is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.
It sports a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel. The Videocon smartphone also features a 13-megapixels rear camera and 8-megapixels front camera. The dual-SIM mobile device supports Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and is 4G enabled.
Videocon Q 1 V500K comes with an exclusive Reliance Jio welcome offer with free voice calls and internet data. Earlier this month, Reliance Jio Infocomm, a telecom subsidiary of Reliance Industries, entered into India's telecom market with free calls and cheap internet data services.
Videocon has announced that it will add SOS-Be Safe emergency response application as well as a panic button to its entire smartphone portfolio.
Last week, the company launched the Videocon Cube 3. It is Videocon's first smartphone to be equipped with a pre-loaded 'SOS-Be Safe' emergency response app and panic button feature. The Videocon Cube 3 is priced at $126. The budget smartphone sports a 5=inch full HD display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixel. It comes with a 13 megapixels rear camera and a 5-megapixels front camera. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor and runs on the Android 6.8 Marshmallow OS.
