The specifications of the Xiaomi' much-awaited Mi Note 2 Pro smartphone were recently leaked on a Chinese social media platform.
The new leak, which surfaced on the micro-blogging platform Weibo, suggests that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Pro will be the first smartphone in the world to have 8GB of RAM. The device will also run on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Pro will be powered a 2.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor. The newest Xiaomi smartphone will come with a massive 256GB of internal memory. It will come with a 5.7-inch QHD Dual curved display and will pack 3600mAh battery.
Xiaomi is expected to release Mi Note 2 Pro this month. The Chinese smartphone maker is likely to also release two other smartphones - Mi Note 2 and Mi 5s - this month. Xiaomi has already sent out invitations to the media for a launch event at the China National Convention Centre in Beijing on September 27.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will also come in two different storage configurations; 64GB and 128GB. The device will sport a 5.7-inch full high-definition display, 6GB of RAM and a 3600mAh battery. It will be powered by a 2.5 GHz Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 processor. It will also feature a 13-megapixel dual camera as well as a fingerprint censor on the front.
