The iPhone 7 is difficult to get in stores due to the number of people lining up to buy it, but it appears to be actually harder to buy it online. A woman who ordered an iPhone 7 online received an iPhone 3, an iPhone 4, and a fusion card from Yu-Gi-Oh instead.
According to the Shanghaiist, the unnamed Chinese woman tried to buy an iPhone 7 in China, but since the new smartphone quickly sold out due to the very high demand, she tried another alternative: online shopping.
The woman found a deal for the iPhone 7 online but was surprised to receive an iPhone 3, an iPhone 4, and a fusion card in the package. She took a photo of the package and posted it on Chinese social media website Weibo, where has gone viral.
The fusion card is a card from the Yu-Gi-Oh animated show. It is used to fuse other cards together to form more powerful cards. Perhaps the online seller wanted to have fun and wanted the buyer to fuse the two phones together to form the iPhone 7.
Commenters on the internet made fun of the package. One of them said that if one were to use the fusion card on two iPhone 7s, one would have the futuristic iPhone 14. Another asked to borrow the fusion card, promising to give the woman an iPhone 7 in return.
