Tinder has launched a new app, designed for conducting social polling. This new app, named Tinder Stacks, lets users use its iconic swipe gesture, for everything, apart from dating. The app can be used for polling anything ranging from a new profile picture to a new dress.
This new chat app is integrated with the Tinder app. If a user has not disabled "Automatically Add Apps" switch, then Tinder Stacks will automatically be available in iMessage.
According to The Verge, the app can be used for choosing a couple of pictures and send them to people in iMessage conversation. Recipients may then wipe left or right to indicate their approval or otherwise. It may have several uses such as getting contacts' opinion about a new outfit or glasses and so on.
Tech Crunch reported that the new app might make Tinder popular with the younger generation. There are several social polling apps available. However, these apps still need to be connected to other social media sites such Facebook or Twitter. Tinder Stacks, in this regard, may prove to be more handy and easy to use.
Tinder has added a couple of new features to its app. The company recently integrated Spotify with its users' profiles. This change lets users check out other people's most played collection on Spotify. Tinder's new social feature also includes the ability to recommend Tinder profiles to friends. Its Tinder Social feature also adds depth to the friend finding function.
