An art book listing has revealed the possible release date of BioWare's highly-anticipated RPG, Mass Effect: Andromeda.
According to Destructoid, the leaked release date was not found on the websites of Electronic Arts or BioWare. Rather, it appeared on Amazon, written in the description for Dark Horse's "The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda" art book.
Dark Horse has apparently given away the much-desired detail that both EA and BioWare have been silent about. The Amazon listing says "Dark Horse will release The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda simultaneously with the game!"
While Andromeda's developers have been mum about its release date, Dark Horse's ad said it would be released on March 21, 2017. So far, both BioWare and Dark Horse have not said anything about the unplanned revelation. BioWare's listing stated that the art book will be available "Early 2017."
If this proves true, then fans will have a good reason to save up and hold their breaths for March 21. After all, Andromeda has been delayed, according to GameSpot. It was originally set to be launched in 2016 but was postponed.
BioWare later confirmed that the game would be released early in 2017, because it "need[s] the right amount of time to make sure [it] deliver[s] everything the game can be and should be."
BioWare might shed light on the game at the upcoming "N7 Day" on November 7.
