Google Pixel XL has received a price tag in the United States. The 32 GB Verizon variant of the smartphone is now on sale on Best Buy for $744. Both the Google online store and Verizon website are selling the Pixel XL for $770, which means that those who buy the smartphone from Best Buy would save $26.
Best Buy is also offering a free Chromecast and a $100 gift card. The Google Chromecast can be plugged into the HDMI port of an HDTV and using Wi-Fi network, users can stream their apps from compatible laptops, tablets, and phones. The Pixel XL is available in two colors: silver and black. It comes with 32 GB of in-built storage.
HTC manufactured the Pixel XL, but Google said that it developed the phone from design to its final finishes. The Pixel XL comes with a glass and aluminum build which looks like the HTC A9. It features a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen with 2,560 x 1,440 pixels resolution. It also comes with the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box.
The Pixel XL is capable of split-screen windows and a battery-saving Doze mode. The phone is compatible with the Daydream View VR headset and has a 3,450 mAh battery. It is also dust and water-resistant but will still be damaged when submerged in water. The Pixel XL will hit shelves on Oct. 20.
