The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) has been spotted on Indian import-export website Zauba.
According to The Indian Express, the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) was launched last month in South Korea with a price tag of KRW 649,000 ($583 or approximately Rs 39,000). In Zauba, it is just $203.99 (around Rs 13,635) as opposed to a significantly higher price in South Korea.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) is the successor of the Galaxy A8 launched in India launched last year at $486.21 (approximately Rs 32,500), Phone Radar reported. It will come with a 7.2 mm-thick frame with a fingerprint sensor to enhance the security of the device.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 2016 has a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a full high-definition resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and Samsung's Always-on display feature. It is powered by an octa-core 64-bit, 14nm Exynos 7420 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.5 GHz and coupled with Mali T760 GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) has a metal body and runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box with the Grace UI. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to a maximum of 256 GB via a microSD card.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) features a 16-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. It also has an 8-megapixel camera on the front. It is packed with a 3300 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) has dual-SIM that supports two nano SIM cards and the 4G LTE connectivity. The other connectivity options include GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.2 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and GLONASS. Sensors include proximity and accelerometer.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) weighs 182 grams and will come in blue, grey, and pink color.
