Ubisoft's ultimate cult classic "Beyond Good & Evil" can be yours for free this month if you have a PC and a free Ubisoft Club account.
The mega-publisher has announced that the classic action-adventure game is available for free on Uplay. It used to go for $10 on Steam.
Ubisoft is giving the game away as part of a year-long celebration of their 30th anniversary (and perhaps encourage Club registrants).
"Beyond Good & Evil" first came out back in 2003 for PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and PC. The third person combat game with a great photography system and a diverse cast was a sales failure, but it earned excellent reviews and a loyal following of a crowd of fans eventually making it a cult classic.
There have been hints that there would be a sequel to the futuristic, Legend of Zelda-inspired title for years now. Originally, the sequel to "Beyond Good & Evil" was announced by a trailer back in 2008.
Fans, who are dying for chief creator Michel Ancel to stop teasing about the sequel, were delighted when the director shared the "Beyond Good & Evil 2" concept art on his Instagram. Ancel and Ubisoft recently confirmed that "Beyond Good & Evil 2" is in pre-production.
It is currently unclear when the game would be released.
