The OPPO R9s Plus smartphone has been unveiled in China.
The specifications of the OPPO R9s Plus were posted on Wednesday on the Weibo page of the benchmarking website AnTuTu. It comes with the model number R6037, Phone Radar reported.
The OPPO R9s Plus has a 6-inch full high-definition display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered the newly announced octa-core Snapdragon 653 MSM8976Pro chipset clocked at 1.95 GHz and coupled with Adreno 510 GPU.
The OPPO R9s Plus comes with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 128 GB via a hybrid microSD card slot.
According to NDTV, the OPPO R9s Plus features a 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 camera sensor with f/1.7 aperture, dual-core focus, optical image stabilization, and LED flash. It also has a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.
The Oppo R9s Plus runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box with the ColorOS 3.0 skin. It sports a hybrid dual-SIM dual-standby card slot. It features a solid state button design on the front that also houses the fingerprint sensor.
The OPPO R9s Plus is packed with a 4000 mAh battery that can give up to two hours of talk time after just five minutes of charging, according to OPPO. It supports OPPO's patented fast charging technology VOOC flash charge.
The Oppo R9s Plus measures 163.63 x 80.8 x 7.35 mm with a weight of 185 grams. It comes with an all-metal unibody design with rounded corners. The other connectivity options of the device include 4G VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth 4.0.
The R9s Plus smartphone would be available in gold and rose gold colors in China at the price of $520.05 (3499 yuan or roughly Rs. 34,700). The upcoming smartphone is up for pre-order, and the shipping will begin on Oct. 28 in the country.
