Swipe Elite 2 Plus Smartphone With Jio Welcome Offer and 4G VoLTE Support Launched in India

The Swipe Elite 2 Plus smartphone has been launched in India.

The Swipe Elite 2 Plus is the latest smartphone in the Elite series from the Indian handset maker Swipe. It has a price tag of $66.52 (around Rs. 4444), Phone Radar reported. It is now exclusively available for pre-orders on Flipkart. It will be the fifth smartphone from the Elite series.

According to NDTV, the Swipe Elite 2 Plus has a 5-inch IPS FWVGA display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, a pixel density of 196 ppi, and 16M colors. It is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830A chipset clocked at a speed of 1.5 GHz and coupled with Mali 400 GPU. It runs on the outdated Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box with pre-installed applications.

The Swipe Elite 2 Plus comes with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory that can further be extended up to 32 GB via microSD card slot. It is packed with 2500 mAh capacity battery that can give you a battery juice within a day of normal usage.

The Swipe Elite 2 Plus supports dual SIM dual standby. It offers 4G LTE network and is eligible for Jio Welcome Offer. Other connectivity options of the device include 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, micro USB port, FM radio, 2G/Edge/GPRS, and GPS/A-GPS navigation.

The Swipe Elite 2 Plus features a 5-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash that can record videos in 720p at 30 frames per second. It also carries a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and video chats with friends and family members.

The Swipe Elite 2 Plus measures 143 x 72 x 9.8 mm in dimensions. The company is also offering 1-year manufacturer warranty and 6-months warranty for accessories from the date of purchase. The smartphone is already available for sale exclusively from online retail website Flipkart in charcoal black and ivory white color.
