The Micromax Canvas Fire 6 is the successor to the Micromax Canvas Fire 5 smartphone that was launched earlier this year. It has a 5.0-inch high-definition IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a pixel density of 294 ppi, and 16M colors.

According to GSM Arena, the Micromax Canvas Fire 6 is powered by a quad-core Cortex A53 chipset that has a MediaTek MT6735P SoC clocked at a speed of 1.0 GHz and paired with Mali T720 GPU. It runs on the outdated Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box with pre-defined applications.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 6 supports dual SIM dual standby and is limited to 4G network. Other connectivity options are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio, GLONASS, 3.5 mm audio jack, and micro USB.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 6 comes with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32 GB via a microSD card slot. It is packed with a massive 3050 mAh battery that gives you a talk time of 27 hours and a standby time of 550 hours.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 6 features an 8-megapixel camera at the back with autofocus and LED flash. It also has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for better selfies. It can also record videos at up to 720p at 30 frames per second.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 6 measures 145 x 73 x 8.3 mm in dimensions with a weight of around 155 grams. The sensors include gyrometer, G-sensor, light, and proximity sensor.

There is still no information regarding the pricing and availability of the Micromax Canvas Fire 6. However, the new device will be available in black color only.
