There are rumors that the company has sent out media invitations with the mention of "selfie evolution." The smartphone's 20-megapixel front camera is built for selfies and comes with LED flash
The Vivo V5 will feature a fingerprint sensor and is powered by a Snapdragon processor. The smartphone features 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It has a home button just below the display.

Vivo began making and selling smartphones in 2011. The company is currently present in India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Philippines.
In accordance with the Government of India's 'Make in India' initiative, Vivo established an assembly unit in the outskirts of New Delhi (Greater Noida) last year and launched their exclusive 'Made for India' V-series smartphones.
The Vivo V3 and V3 Max smartphones have received great reviews and continue to do well in the offline market. The company is said to be among the top 10 smartphone manufacturers in India in terms of sales.
