What would you do to score a free iPhone 7?
A Ukrainian man Olexander Turin had his name changed to "iPhone Sim" to win the latest Apple device.
The 20-year-old man joined the promotion contest by an electronic store to take home the smartphone without any charge. The promotion offers free iPhone 7 unit to five people who will change their names. However, it was only Turin who has fulfilled the requirement so far.

Sim in Ukrainian means seven. In English, SIM stands for "Subscriber Identity Module" which is a small removable card inserted in mobile phones containing cellular data.
Turin's family was astounded at first but later on accepted his decision. His sister Tetyana Panina said "it was difficult to accept that and hard to believe it's true. Each person in this world is looking for a way to express himself. Why not do that in this way?"
Apple's iPhone 7 is worth around $850 in Ukraine while legally changing someone's name in the country will only cost $2.
Turin has decided to use his new name at the moment and might reuse his birth name when he gets children. Turin is lucky to have his name changed with the sale of the latest Apple handset in the market. If he changed it during the release of iPhone 6, his name would have turned to iPhone Shist, which means six in Ukrainian but would sound quite awkward in English.
Recently, a woman in China asked her 20 lovers to purchase iPhone 7 units for her. She later sold the smartphone to make down payment on a new house.
