Apple has released a new Apple TV application called iBooks StoryTime to encourage parents and kids to read children's books on big screen TV.
Apple debuted this new app for tvOS on Thursday, with features like "Read-Aloud," which syncs the audio with the on-screen text that narrates books and flips the pages for you automatically.

Read-Along books are audio-enhanced with different character voices, clear sound effects, and word-for-word narration that kids can follow. In some cases, there are also words highlighted on-screen as they are read aloud.
Kids can flip through the pages of the books on their own by swiping with the Apple TV remote after turning off the"Read-Aloud" feature.
The app, which runs on the 4th generation Apple TV devices that have access to tvOS App Store, does not come with a charge to download, but the books do.
Parents can purchase Read-Aloud books chosen with the help of App Store editors directly from the Apple TV.
The collection is made up of books with Sesame Street characters and stories from other children's picks like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
There is one free giveaway at launch so users can test drive the app: a Read-Aloud title called "Dora's Big Buddy Race Read-Along Storybook."
Users can buy iBooks from any Apple device, and the Read-Aloud stories will sync automatically in the library on your Apple TV.
If you need to order more books, you can do so from the StoryTime app, as well as via the iBookstore on Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
