The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has been officially released in China.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a premium version of the recently launched Huawei Mate 9. It was introduced side-by-side with the regular Mate 9 and Mate 9 Porsche Design.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a 5.5-inch quad high-definition curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core Kirin 960 chipset clocked at a speed of 2.5 GHz. It runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box with the Chinese mobile company Huawei's Emotion UI 5.0 skin.

The Huawei Mate 9 Pro comes in two variants; one version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage which costs $686 (around Rs. 46,500 or 4699 yuan) and another with 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in memory at $775 (approximately Rs. 52,500 or 5299 yuan).
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features the second-generation dual-camera setup at the back with a 20-megapixel monochrome lens and 12-megapixel Red-Green-Blue sensors with Leica lenses and dual-tone LED flash. It also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with optical image stabilization capability for taking better selfies.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is packed with a massive 4000 mAh battery and supports a fingerprint scanner on the front just like the Porsche model. It measures 152 x 75 x 7.5 mm in dimension. Other connectivity options are Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi.
There is still no announcement on the international availability and pricing of the Huawei Mate 9 Pro. However, the upcoming smartphone will be available in ceramic white, champagne gold, mocha brown, moonlight silver, and space gray color.
