The Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone could feature pressure-sensitive display like Apple's 3D Touch feature on iPhones.
Samsung is expected to bring only the meaningful changes that are necessary especially for the Samsung Galaxy S8. One of such features is the pressure-sensitive display, also known as force touch display. However, it might take up to two years to completely adopt this technology since it takes a lot of time for the developers to implement it in their apps.

Samsung is the main supplier of these pressure-sensitive displays to Chinese telecommunications equipment company Huawei. Therefore, bringing this feature to the Samsung Galaxy S8 will not be a surprise at all.
A component division executive from Samsung has allegedly admitted that the company is working on the pressure-sensitive displays for one of its upcoming smartphones which will be introduced shortly, likely the Samsung Galaxy S8. However, there has been no mention of which smartphone will come with the feature.
Apple first introduced its 3D Touch feature on the iPhone 6s last year, and it was praised as a great new interface breakthrough. However, this feature was not widely used as some initially anticipated.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to be powered by the latest and the greatest from the Snapdragon, which is Snapdragon 830. It will come with 6GB of RAM. It will likely have a 4K display for better virtual reality integration.
Other than the Samsung Galaxy S8 features, Samsung confirmed last week that its next-generation smartphone would also feature an intelligent personal assistant similar to Siri from Apple. The device is expected to come with an iris-recognition camera on the front and the enhanced wireless charging capabilities. It could also sport a dual-lens camera on the back.
