The Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime smartphone has been released in Australia.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime is now available for purchase in Australia. It is another addition to the company's existing J-series smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime has a 5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a quad-core chipset clocked at a speed of 1.4 GHz. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime features a 13-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for better selfies and video chatting with family and friends. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage that can be further extended up to a maximum of 256GB via a microSD card slot.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime measures 142.80 x 69.5 x 8.1 mm in dimension with a weight of 143 grams. It has new features such as S power planning and S secure for battery saving and lock feature. It is packed with a 2400 mAh non-removable battery.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone. Other connectivity options are USB OTG (on-the-go), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, FM radio, GPS, 3G, and 4G. Sensors available include the ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and proximity sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime will be available from JB Hi-Fi retailer in gold and black color. It has been listed on the company's website for about AUD 399 (around Rs. 20,000).
