Mozilla Firefox has introduced a private browser called 'Firefox Focus' for iOS. (YouTube)
Mozilla Firefox has unveiled a new web browser called 'Firefox Focus' for the iOS platform. It is a private browser that blocks advertisements, analytics, and other web trackers that track a user's data.
One does not need to change any cookie or privacy settings. The browser takes care of the security settings automatically or at one tap of a button - no menus needed.

It is not a very sophisticated browser yet, as it cannot open multiple tabs at the same time, according to Financial Express.
FireFox Focus is a free, fast, and a very easy-to-use private browser, Mozilla said in a blog post. It does not save any history or bookmarks. Besides leaving no footprints behind when the user is done with using the browser, it also takes care of hiding the web content when the user is in the iOS multitasking menu, successfully inhibiting shoulder surfing.
Firefox Focus is also capable of integrating with Safari so that if one wants to use Safari to open websites that work better when trackers are loaded, one can simply use Firefox Focus as an ad blocker. Also, if one wants to switch to Safari from Focus, one can simply hit a button provided at the bottom of the browser to open any page in Safari.
Apart from the security and seamless integration with other browsers, Firefox Focus gives a performance and speed boost to websites as well. By removing trackers, web pages load considerably faster. Additionally, a user can also block web fonts in Focus to further reduce the page download size. As far as reducing clutter from browsers is concerned, there is a little "erase" button too on the top, which removes the entire browser history.
Firefox Focus has already hit the App Store. Based on the feedback from iPhone users, Firefox plans to launch the browser for Android users as well.
