Google Play has unveiled lists of the best and top games, applications, and other materials in 2016. Is your favorite included?
The top trending games and apps are the ones that received the highest number of downloads for the whole year.

On the international level, the Scoompa's Face Changer 2 received the most trending application title ahead of Lumyer's Photo & Selfie Editor and Castbox's Podcast Radio Music. The global hit game Pokemon Go of the Niantic scored the top trending game title for 2016 followed by Clash Royale from Supercell and Skgame's Traffic Rider.
In the United States alone, the most downloaded application was Miitomo by Nintendo succeeded by Google Duo and MSQRD from the Facebook Company. Meanwhile, the top trending games in the region were Candy Crush Jelly Saga by King, Clash Royal, and Pokemon Go.
The app and games downloading platform chose Clash of Royal for this year's Best Game title while Prima Labs grabbed the App of 2016 title. Further, "Reigns" and "Nerial" got the most innovative game title while Springloaded's "The Last Vikings" was dubbed as the best indie game of the year.
For the top streamed music, Twenty One Pilots' "Stressed Out" landed on number 1 followed by "Sorry" by Justin Bieber, "One Dance" by Drake, "Don't Let Me Down" by the Chainsmokers, and "Me, Myself & I" by G-Eazy. Meanwhile, the top movies for this year are Deadpool, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Zootopia, Captain America: Civil War and Batman versus Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Google Play also listed the television shows that rocked 2016. It includes Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, The Big Bang Theory, Mr. Robot and The Flash. The top books on the list are "Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe" by Cullen Bunn, "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: Parts One and Two (Special Rehearsal Edition) by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany and Jack Thorne, "The Girl on the Train: A Novel" by Paula Hawkins, "The Art of War" by Tzu Sun and "Me Before You: A Novel" by Jojo Moyes.
The Google's Best List is released every year to celebrate the applications, games, and other materials trending on the internet.
