The LG G6 will be introduced with mobile payment technology and an iris scanner.
The LG G6 might be packed with a 4200 mAh removable battery like other LG smartphones. It could run on the Android 7.1 Nougat operating system out of the box with the latest UX user interface.
The LG G6 might be produced using Samsung 10nm FinFET process. It is said to be clocked at a speed of 3.0 GHz and coupled with Adreno 540 graphics processing unit. It may come with 6GB of RAM, just like the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro in China.
The LG G6 might have a 5.6-inch 4K display with a resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixels. It will come with 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB of internal storage that can be extended up to 128GB with dual microSD cards. It is said to feature a 24-megapixel rear camera and a 7.0-megapixel front-facing camera.
The company's payment system called the LG Pay for the LG G6 will be based on Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) technology instead of Near Field Communication (NFC). It is similar to Samsung Pay and Apple Pay, which are already popular in most developed countries. All the payment terminals that support card swiping also work with MST-based mobile payment technology.
There has been no official information of the release date of the LG G6. However, the upcoming device will be available in blue, black, copper, gold, and white color.
