Christmas is right around the corner, and hot items are going out really fast. One such item is the retro game console from Nintendo, the NES Classic Edition, which sold out in merely hours at a number of retail outlets. The low supply, and high demand has led to people paying insane amounts well above the suggested retail price.

In response to this, a bizarre retailer has announced that it will carrying a limited stock of the retro console, which should serve as a salve for those on the hunt. The retailer is Urban Outfitters, which is generally known for clothing and apparel rather than gaming consoles. The official announcement from the retailer stated that that console would be available on its website.
No further information was given as to when the gaming system would go up on sale on the website, or at what price. However, due to the high demand, it is expected that the console would be sold out within minutes. A similar situation happened when Toys R Us put the system went on sale at their stores.
People interested in buying the console are advised to create an Urban Outfitters online store account in preparation. This may very well be the last chance for customers to get their hands on the popular console this Christmas. Urban Outfitters seems to be the perfect avenue as it has been offering retro Atari systems and other old school gadgets.
Pricing may be the key difference when it comes to buying the console, since the suggested retail price is at $59.99. However, this is an easier option than scouring through eBay or even Craigslist to find a decent seller who would not charge an insanely high price.
