The Lava X50 Plus smartphone has been released in India with a price tag of $136.05 (around Rs. 9199).

The Lava X50 Plus is the newest smartphone in the category of X-series from Indian smartphone manufacturer company Lava. It is the successor of the Lava X50 smartphone which was launched earlier this year at a price of $128.65 (approximately Rs. 8699).

The Lava X50 Plus sports a sleek metallic body with an elegantly curved back and the same NCVM coating like its predecessor. It also has a screen-shrink feature to manage everything with just one hand and also a swipe down with three fingers to capture a screenshot.

The Lava X50 Plus has a 5.5-inch high-definition IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a pixel density of 267 ppi, 16M colors, and a 5-point touch for precision. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box with pre-installed applications.

The Lava X50 Plus is powered by an unknown quad-core chipset clocked at a speed of 1.3 GHz. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in memory with an option to increase storage up to a maximum of 32GB via a microSD card slot.

The Lava X50 Plus features an 8-megapixel autofocus camera at the back with a big pixel (1.14µm) sensor and LED flash that can record videos in 1080p at 30 frames per second. It also features a 5-megapixel front-facing image sensor with LED flash. Other features of the smartphone's camera include the panorama mode, face beauty, time lapse video, and slow motion video feature.

The Lava X50 Plus supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE network. Other connectivity options are EDGE/GPRS, micro USB 2.0, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, USB tethering, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n support.

The Lava X50 Plus measures 155 x 71.8 x 8.85 mm in dimension with a weight of 155 grams. It will be available in blue, gold, and white color.
