It works with the LG Security 1850 EV Lithium Batteries with a capacity of 280 Wh and a maximum power of 500 W. The vehicle is even more stunning with its four LED control pointers to light up the riders' journey. It is lightweight at 12.5kg which makes it convenient for folding. Xiaomi claims that the vehicle can be folded in just three seconds.
This is indeed a green vehicle with its environmentally friendly feature "Kinetic Energy recovery system" that converts kinetic energy to electric energy. The techie catch is, smartphones can be used to control the movement of this electric scooter. The company created an app that allows users to connect to the scooter through Bluetooth and monitor the riding speed, cycling habits as well as the scooter's battery health.
Experts say that vehicles like this one are ideal for busy and crowded cities especially with zero-harmful effects to the environment.
Xiaomi recently also released QiCycle, a foldable electric bicycle with a weight of only 7 kg. Its long-standing 18650 mAh battery allows the vehicle to run a range of 40 to 50 km even without charging.
