The Translator application has been designed to break the language barrier. To use the feature, people have to use the Microsoft Translator application on their phones or use the internet to visit the website and sign in to pick the desired language and start the conversation. The speaker would push a button to start talking, and a translation of the speech would pop up in the devices of the participants in their chosen languages.
An audible translation is also available in some languages, and Microsoft is working hard to improve the quality of the translations and ability of the machine translations. The Microsoft Translator application comes after the company integrated a real-time language translation tool directly into its popular Skype software.
With this new translator application, migrants and refugees who have issues with language in a foreign country can be dealt with properly. Travelers and expats in foreign countries can also use the application.
