The Vivo X9 Plus smartphone has been listed online on the website of Chinese telecommunications equipment certification center (TENAA).
The Vivo X9 Plus comes with an aluminum built unibody design. It has a 5.88-inch full high-definition Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a pixel density of 374 pixels per inch. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 653 chipset coupled with Adreno 510 graphics processing unit.

The Vivo X9 Plus runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system based on the company's FunTouch 3.0 out of the box. It comes with 64GB of internal storage and features a 16-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash, an aperture of f/2.0, and phase detection autofocus. It also comes with a 20-megapixel front-facing camera with Sony IMX376 sensor and an aperture of f/2.0.
The Vivo X9 Plus features a fingerprint scanner and supports 4G VoLTE with dual SIM card. It is packed with a 4000 mAh battery that supports fast charging as well. Other connectivity options are Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Wi-Fi, and OTG (on-the-go).
The Vivo X9 Plus measures 162 x 79 x 7.49 mm in dimension. The company has teased about the dual front camera of the smartphone ahead of the launch. There is 20-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual front camera setup.
Earlier, the Vivo Y66 smartphone was also listed on TENAA with two other variant Y66 and Y66L. It costs $215.55 (approximately Rs. 14,656 or 1498 yuan). It has a 5.5-inch high-definition TFT display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
The Vivo Y66 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.4 GHz and coupled with Adreno 5.5 graphics processing unit. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in memory that can be further extended up to a maximum of 128GB via a micro SD card. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system-based FunTouch 3.0 out of the box.
