A 1981 model BMW M1 has been found by the German car specialist and dealer, Mint Classics. The old red model BMW car was parked in an Italian garage and left to rust for 34 years. The company plans to improve the battered condition of the car.
With only 430 million units ever built and some of the unit's prices reaching about half a million, this is truly a unique discovery. The M1 was in a very well condition, Mint Classics, the car dealing company reported, according to BMW Blog.

With very few miles on its odometer and original OEM tires, the red BMW had been left without any care. Even though Mint Classics is enthusiastic about working on the restoration of the car, it would be a difficult challenge to work with the drivetrain parts.
Mint Classics is very confident that with great attention and hard work dedicated to this BMW, it will be able to restore it back to its original glory. With its superior performance and a very comfortable experience while driving it, the BMW M1 is said to be probably the first everyday supercar, according to The Car Scoops.
The most astounding feature of the car is its very impressive engine. The car is of impressively strong built, boasting a 24-valve, mid-mounted and dry sump engine. While this model was originally intended for racing and fast driving, it is perfectly comfortable to drive it around.
