Lamborghini has unveiled its latest surprise. According to an announcement by Research and Development Director of Lamborghini, Maurizio Reggiani, the company is going to manufacture Lamborghini Urus PHEV.
This will be a plug-in hybrid and the only kind which the company will make. The much-hyped car is expected to hit the market worldwide in 2018.

Reggiani noted that the design of this new hybrid is purely Lamborghini. The design has changed and improved over the years, but the main aim of the company is to provide the best, he added. Reggiani explained that Lamborghini plans to rule the market with this new hybrid and the company is trying its best to ensure everything is perfect inside and outside.
No specifications or any particular advanced technology used in this hybrid has been disclosed yet, according to InsideEVs. Perhaps, sometime in 2017, a model will be unveiled. Only the inclusion of a turbocharger has been announced. Reggiani said that an SUV this powerful needs a strong torque at all costs. Furthermore, Lamborghini's other line ups were also discussed. Maintaining his confident tone, Reggiani said that their aspirated engines were the top choice.
