Now, the Korea-based mobile phone manufacturer has received certifications for its upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, but the actual specifications have not been revealed.
The device received its Wi-Fi certification recently from the WiFi Alliance (WFA). The listing revealed that there would be an LTE variant of the device, and it will be released a bit later than the standard variant.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has also appeared on the website of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group among the devices that have received Bluetooth certification. The data transmission features for the device have been outlined already, indicating that the release will happen anytime soon.
There are rumors that the smartphone would hit the market in the first quarter of this year. However, the "September 1 release date" seems to be the most likely date, according to GSMArena.
Among the rumored features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, the device is likely to have a 9.7-inch variant with AMOLED display and a resolution of 2048 x 1536. It is highly possible that the device will run on either a Quad-core or Octa-core variant processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32/64GB of internal storage. The 8-inch variant may also have similar specifications. Both variants are expected to come with microSD card support.
