There are speculations that Samsung may launch the Galaxy S8 and S8 Edge or Plus one or two months ahead of its expected release date.
The South Korean tech giant has allegedly confirmed that the devices would be released in mid-April. It could hit the market in the third week of the month. However, it is also interesting to note that earlier reports suggested a Feb. 27 launch at the Mobile World Congress 2017.

Samsung is expected to launch two Galaxy S8 models: one with a 2K 5.7-inch display and another with a 6.2-inch 4K screen called Galaxy S8 Plus. Both smartphones are expected to feature curved Super AMOLED displays with its resolution speculated to be at 3,840 x 2,160 with a pixel density of 806 pixels per inch (ppi). Samsung could also remove the headphone jack from the upcoming phones.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is rumored to offer a 27 percent performance increase and 40 percent power consumption decrease. It could also sport the Exynos 8895 with ARM's new Mali-G71 for its GPU. The Galaxy S8 is also likely to have its intelligent AI assistant called Viv. It could also feature a touch-based power button and wireless charging technology. The Galaxy S8 is rumored to use the 10nm chips with VR technology. The phones will certainly feature increased RAM for better virtual reality support.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 are one of the most awaited smartphones coming this year and fans would be excited to know that it could come with foldable screens.
After the Galaxy Note 7 debacle, Samsung had to work hard to came up with something impressive for its next flagship devices. The Galaxy Note series has always featured high-end specs which made Samsung ahead of the game. Samsung could experiment with bendable and two-screen display models for its 2017 flagships.
