The MacBook Pro is expected to be released this year, and it will feature 32 GB RAM and a Kaby Lake Processor which would give a power boost to Apple's upcoming laptop.

The seventh-generation CPU and the double capacity RAM was announced Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities. The upcoming MacBook Pro is also expected to be cheaper than its predecessors.

MacBooks equipped with Kaby Lake processors and 32 GB RAMs are expected to enter into mass production by the third quarter of 2017. The official announcement of the new laptops will most likely happen by Autumn. As pre-orders will be placed in advance, the actual market release may start by the fourth quarter of this year.

The cheaper pricing scheme is Apple's way to keep attracting consumers, especially as mid-range devices are keeping pace with the standards and quality of expensive ones. Even the upcoming iPhone 8 is expected to be released with better features for a lower price compared to its predecessors.

The seventh-generation processor from Intel can run the device efficiently enough to handle 32GB of RAM without any problems. The performance level of the new laptop will be the same as a full desktop computer just like an iMac.

Apple did not participate in the recently held Consumer Electronics Show 2017, so some believe that the company is reserving all their upcoming products for the next Apple Event. The next launch will focus on the Apple Watch 3, iPhone 8, and the new MacBook.

Still, it is inconclusive whether the new laptop will be called a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air. It could also get an entirely new device name.

What is clear is that Apple plans to put the complete power features of an iMac inside a portable MacBook.
