Don't put your personal number on your Facebook page. This is an important precaution one should remember. It could lead to prank calls or possibly endanger your life. There are times when putting your personal number online seems like a good idea. However, it is important to balance the risks and benefits. Using a different number perhaps for business purposes could be a reasonable decision.
Do not upload crazy drunk photos, and delete them if you already did. This could cost you a job or perhaps a personal loan. Nowadays, employers and other firms check the Facebook account of applicants to understand their "background." Although you never intend for them to see those "occasional" shots, the impression it will give could destroy your reputation.
Do not constantly brag about where you are. It is quite tempting to tell the world where you have been or where you were at a certain time. However, this could cost your safety and possessions. For example, if you post on Facebook that you are out on vacation, robbers could take advantage to rob your property or even track you down.
Start deleting the pictures of your ex. Keeping those photos on your account could lead to problems with your future spouse. Also, you do yourself a favor by eliminating any possible triggers of nostalgia or unpleasant memories from your past relationship.
