"I think it's a very unique piece of hardware. I'm looking forward to the possibilities of the system itself, but we have no plans at the moment regarding "Resident Evil" on Switch," Kawata said.
But, quoting from the words "no plans at the moment" could mean that there is a possibility that a Switch version could be released in the future. Nintendo Switch received positive reviews, and having a game franchise like "Resident Evil" could maximize its capabilities.
The "Resident Evil 7 Biohazard" will be released on January 24, 2017 and will be playable for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The setting will be the events after "Resident Evil" - a modern day story revolving around a plantation mansion in rural America. The horror game survived six franchises and will now move in to the seventh only proving the worth of the video game.
The "Resident Evil 7" Beginning Hour demo may also be downloaded by fans to have a glimpse of the first-person gameplay style. There is also a real life preview for the game in UK, where fans can have "Resident Evil 7" live-action experience. Visiting individuals can play the part of journalist interns doing investigations.
On a humorous statement from Capcom, they said that "participants will not be alone in there as they try to solve puzzles and escape unharmed.
