Across all Pokemon game franchises, catching the legendaries is the proof that you have conquered the game. There are lots of new legendaries in "Pokemon Sun and Moon," and here are some tips on how to catch the Tapus, Magearna, and Zygarde.
Zygarde, the legendary Pokemon of Kalos, can also be caught in the Alola region. However, it takes a lot of effort to be able to get your hands on him. The basic requirement is to collect Zygarde Cells and Cores as you travel around the islands in Alola region.

This is not an easy task, as you need to find a total of 100 Cells to assemble and customize Zygarde. Also, Zygarde in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" has three different forms. A 10 percent Zygarde comes in a form of a dog, 50 percent has a snake form, and the last stage is the complete Zygarde form.
Then there's Magearna, the mythical Pokemon that was first revealed in the Alola Region. But Magearna is not a catchable Pokemon. You can only have Magearna through a distribution that was made by The Pokemon Company that began in December with the launch of Volcanion movie.
The Island Guardians in the Alola region of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" are called Tapus. They have unique types and abilities. In the story, they protect the Alola region from Ultra Beasts.
The first guardian you will face is Tapu Koko. You will meet him after you become the Champion. Together with Lillie, you will travel to Tapu Koko's shrine where you can challenge and catch him.
In the Ruins of Life on Akala Island, you will meet Tapu Lele. A Machamp PokeRide will bring you to Tapu Lele's shrine so you can catch him.
Tapu Bulu can be found on the Ruins of Abundance in the Haina Desert. But the ruins are quite tricky to find. The order you can take to find him is up-right-up-right-left-down-up.
Then the last guardian is Tapu Fini who can be found on Ruins of Hope in Poni Island, you will also need a Machamp PokeRide access to get to him.
