The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 smartphone has been spotted at the benchmarking website GFXBench.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 recently received Wi-Fi certification from WiFi Alliance and carries the model number SM-T825. It was spotted on the Indian import and export tracking website Zauba in November 2016 with a certification ID of WFA69212 dated on Jan. 6.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will have a 9.7-inch IPS LCD capacitative touchscreen display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, a pixel density of 264 pixels per inch, and 16M colors laid on top. It will run on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box with TouchWiz UI.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek (Samsung Exynos 7420 SoC) chipset coupled with Mali 400 graphics processing unit on board. It will come with 4GB of RAM and in two storage variants 32GB and 64GB. The device's internal memory can be extended up to a maximum of 128GB via a microSD card slot.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will feature an 8-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash accompanied with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Additional camera features include autofocus, geotagging, and 4K video recording at 30 frames per second.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is a dual SIM device with a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button. Other connectivity options are GPRS, A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, FM radio, and micro USB 2.0 port. Sensors include proximity and accelerometer.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will pack an unspecified Li-Po battery, which is rumored to have 5870 mAh. It will be available in white and black color. However, there has been no official announcement regarding the release date of the smartphone.
