Next week's "Fallout 4" update gives the game a visual overhaul on both the PC and PS4 Pro.

When "Fallout 4" released on consoles, it featured a more vibrant and colorful world compared to its predecessor. The first thing that fans noticed is the vast improvement in the game's visuals.

If the game's crisp graphics weren't enough to convince fans, Bethesda studios just offered a solution. The latest update will bring native 1440p resolution to "Fallout 4."

Graphically demanding

Furthermore, a high-resolution texture pack will be added to the game as well, according to Kotaku. This makes an already impressive looking game look even better.

That is, if fans have the beefy computer specs required to run the high-resolution textures patch. Which means having an Intel Core i7-5820k or better processor, a GTX 1080 or better GPU and a minimum of 8 GB of RAM.

Given that players have met the recommended specs, all they need to do is to prepare themselves for a beautifully rendered post-apocalyptic world! As for PS4 Pro players, all they need to do is simply download the patch and enjoy.

The next post-apocalyptic destination

In other "Fallout" news, it seems that rumors about a new "Fallout" game is already surfacing. A report from Inquisitr suggests that the next game is once again heading west.

Obsidian, developers of "Fallout: New Vegas", mentioned that they're interested in making a sequel to "New Vegas." The Obsidian developers explained that Bethesda chose an East coast setting in "Fallout 4" since they're from the East Coast.

However, Obsidian is hoping to bring the franchise back to the West. Whether it will be back on "New Vegas" or maybe Los Angeles, it's anyone's guess.

The question that fans will be wondering in the months to come is that, will we be re-visiting the New California Republic? Only time will tell if the future of "Fallout" resides in the west coast.
