The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 smartphone has been spotted online with its specifications.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 is the alleged successor to the Xiaomi Redmi Pro. It has surfaced on the Chinese blogging website Weibo.

The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 will have a 5.5-inch high-definition IPS LCD multitouch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a pixel density of 401 pixels per inch, and 16M colors laid on top. It will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 will come in two variants: one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and another with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in memory. The storage can be extended up to a maximum of 128GB via a microSD card slot.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 is expected to feature a 12-megapixel camera on the rear with Sony IMX362 sensor. It will also carry an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and selfies. It comes with camera features such as autofocus and geotagging.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 can record full high-definition videos in 1080p at 30 frames per second. It is expected to sport a dual rear camera combo. It will have a dual SIM support with 4G LTE.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 will pack a 4500 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery that can last an entire day with single charge on normal usage. It will be available in gold and silver color. It will be priced at $ (1599 yuan) and $ (1799 yuan) for the 4GB and 6GB RAM variants respectively.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 is expected to be unveiled in the coming days.
