NVIDIA, which is famous for its powerful Graphics Processing Units (GPU), is at it again with the release of the dominant GTX 1080 Ti. This is reportedly the most powerful GPU of all time because of its 12 billion transistors which enhance gaming performance.
NVIDIA's GTX 1080 packs 7.2 billion transistors while the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti boasts of 12 billion transistors. According to PC GamesN, the new GPU is also expected to have 4.6GB of RAM and a higher bandwidth GDDRX5 RAM.

The NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti is allegedly the last GPU that will use the Pascal Architecture since the company will be using Volta as its architecture for the next release. This means that NVIDIA's next release would come with a more powerful and competent GPU.
However, according to MobiPicker, the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti will not be an affordable graphics card for most. The price range will fall between $650 to $1200.
It will compete against AMD's upcoming Vega 10 GPU which is set to be launched early May. The Vega 10's new architecture will be more efficient in handling memory traffic and will cut a lot of wasteful memory allocations. Its high Bandwidth Cache Controller reduces wasteful memory allocations by almost 50 percent which means effectively translating 8GB of memory into 16GB of memory.
