2017 will mark the 10-year anniversary of the launch of the original iPhone, and Apple is said to be readying something special for the iPhone 8.
With Apple expected to launch the iPhone 8 in September, there are reports that it is starting production of the smartphone ahead of schedule to ensure that its supply can meet the demand. In fact, the manufacturing of the iPhone 8 is set to start as early as June.
Apple is going to start making the iPhone 8 far sooner than expected, according to the Independent.The move could indicate that the Apple plans to release the new phone earlier than normal or that it is expecting to sell a lot more of them.

There is some indication that Apple is ramping up production of the new phone, according to analysts from BlueFin Research Partners. The new devices are expected to start being assembled by Apple's suppliers in early June.

Gadgets 360 reported that it expects a 300 percent increase in iPhone 8/X production in the June quarter. It also raised the estimates for total iPhones manufactured in the quarter from 45 million to 48 million.
Apple is believed to be lowering the number of iPhone 7, iPhone 7S, and older models still in production to manufacture more units of the iPhone 8.
