After being quite exciting in its early days, Android Wear really lost whatever luster it initially had over the last two years. Google did a great job getting a good variety of more traditional fashion brands on board for new and interesting hardware throughout 2015 and even into 2016.

However, with the announcement of Android Wear 2.0 at Google I/O, it kind of put the brakes on buying watches since the new hardware would be coming with the final release of the software. According to Popularmechanics, the LG Watch Sport we tested is a feature-rich offering a host of fitness tracking features and LTE connectivity. The LG Watch style on the other hand, skips a heart rate sensor, LTE connectivity, GPS, and Android Pay for more discreet look and lighter build.

The LG Watch Sport is a whopping 51 millimeters wide, so it's quite large by today's big smartwatch standards. Its depth is particularly noticeable, though it is the price to pay for having so many hardware features at your disposal.

In line with LG's tradition, the Watch Sport has a gorgeous 1.38-inch fully circular OLED display that's handily one of the best in its class. It's incredibly sharp, beautifully vibrant, and visible in all lighting conditions, according to Best Products.

If you are looking for a more stylish option that you want to wear on all occasions, consider the LG Watch Style instead. Not only is it more affordable, but it also much sleeker, and it comes with interchangeable bands.
