Valve has unveiled the latest patch for Dota 2.  Gameplay Update 7.02 added a number of new adjustments that were described in the full patch notes report.

The patch focuses on many small changes for balance.  The update features several balance adjustments needed after the launch of The New Journey. The adjustments include changes to hero talents, shrines, terrain, as well as the Captains Mode addition of Lycan.  The change log for the 7.02 patch contains the full list of changes.

Rebalancing of heroes is among the primary areas of Dota 2 that the 7.02 update targeted.  Many of the changes were centered on the talents of the heroes. The update includes changes that attempt to remedy the present dominant build, the Solo Druid.  There is no evidence yet that the adjustments reported in the patch notes is enough to fix the issue.

Lone Druid adjustments include reducing the Attack Range Level 10 Talent and the Damage Level 15 Talent.  A pair of Level 20 Talents, Spirit Bear Armor and Respawn Time were given improvements. There are other notable changes included in the update from Valve.

Similar to Shrines inside the base, all Shrines are now vulnerable after a T3 tower dies rather than after all T2 towers are dead.  Sentry Wards, instead of getting 2 for 200 gold, they now come in packs of 1 for 100 gold.

The slow movement of the Satyr Trickster Purge has been decreased from 100/80/60/40/20 percent over 5 seconds to 50/40/30/20/10 percent.  The stats given by the Helm of the Dominator was lowered from 6 to 4 and the creeps it dominates now provide a constant bounty of 125 gold.

Damage was lowered from 225 to 200 for the Shadow Walk of a Silver Edge.  Additional Experience for each Tome of Knowledge used was increased to 135 from 100.  The list of these and other changes can be found in the patch notes for the 7.02 update for Dota 2 released by Valve.
