Humble $30 Huge New Bundle Launched With All Proceeds Going To Charity
Just recently, Humble has reportedly launched its latest bundle and it is said to be a one notable bundle. The Humble Freedom Bundle's line-up of games is very staggering. The list is reported to have more than two dozen Steam games which include "Remastered," "The Witness," "Nuclear Throne," "Stardew Valley," "Invisible, Inc.," "Day of the Tentacle," "Mini Metro," "The Stanley Parablem," and "Octodad." A number of books are included on the list as well.

The total MSRP listed is at over $600. Buyers will be able to receive the list once they buy this bundle, although it is not broken down into different tiers based on purchase price.
Nevertheless, it is unlike the typical due to buyers having to pay at least $30 to acquire this bundle. It is worth noting that none of the said proceeds are going to the developers or Humble itself --- everything will be directed to charity.
Furthermore, buyers have the the opportunity to choose between splitting their payment between the Doctors Without Borders, American Civil Liberties Union, and International Rescue Committee. Humble itself is matching contributions about to $300,000.
This is in accordance with how some video game companies and organization respond about the recent immigration ban being forced in the United States. A number of other developers, just like Humble, have currently been doing something similar --- donating proceeds from their games to different organizations. The purportedly controversial executive order, which has been halted by the courts since, is not evidently mentioned in Humble's accompanying announcement; however, it appears to be like a clear response to it.
It is true that companies are often unwilling to react publicly especially if it is about political news. But this time around, this has not been the case with the controversial travel ban. Various developers have apparently showed concern. Valve even released a statement that it has already affected the company.
Humble modestly remember that the U.S. is a nation of immigrants and they are proud to stand with charities, authors, and developers that fight for justice and liberty for all, As per their announcement. Moreover, they have chosen the three aforesaid organizations due to their inspirational work in providing humanitarian support to rejected people and refugees as well as in defense of justice, civil rights, and human rights.
The bundle has overwhelmingly raised more than $125,000 in just less than an hour. The bundle will be available for a week, according to Gamespot.
It is expected that more content will be coming soon as additional games may possibly have not been lined up as of yet. It seems that Humble is eventually leaving the door open for other developers have the chance to submit their games to the cause.
