Dubai aims to maintain the lead when it comes to modern architecture with its plan to build the first-ever rotating skyscraper in their city.

The city, which will be located on the edge of the United Arab Emirates, will boast of panoramic views of both the city and the coastline. It will benefit from another ultramodern structure that offers 360-degree views.

The "Dynamic Tower" project was first proposed in 2008 by Israeli-Italian architect David Fisher and will reportedly feature 80 rotating storeys that will make the building look like it is constantly moving and changing in shape. To help supply power, wind turbines will be put up between each floor.

Each storey will, of course, feature futuristic apartments that will rotate independently. Residents will be able to control the speed or stop the movement of their floor via voice commands. This way, residents will also be able to watch the sun rise and set from the very same window.

With all these innovations, units are estimated to cost $30 million each. Units are probably already being pre-sold as of this moment.

Dubai has also revealed its plans to build the first Hyperloop, the fastest mass transit system that will carry passengers in levitating capsules at unbelievable speeds -- at an estimated 500mph.

See what the skyscraper will probably look like in the video below:
