As Microsoft continues to strengthen its Xbox One backwards compatibility list, a new game has been added to the list. Despite the new addition, February seems to pick up a slow pace compared to January's backwards compatible list. For the third week of February after the "Grand Theft Auto IV" was released, the game "Hitman: Absolution" was revealed.

The announcement was made by Larry Hryb on Twitter. Meanwhile, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" remains the top requested game on the Xbox One backwards compatibility list.
The COD title has been in the spotlight after it briefly appeared on the Xbox One backwards compatibility list; only to be pulled out. Nevertheless, fans are positive that it will return just like what happened with the "Red Dead Redemption" game. Following the announcement of "GTA IV" on the Xbox One backwards compatibility list, Hryb also confirmed that a new IP is also in the works. The news excited fans; some assuming it's for a exclusive game for the Xbox One console.

Sane Trilogy" for the PS4 and "Cuphead," "Crackdown 3," "Sea of Thieves, "Scalebound," "State of Decay 2," "Phantom Dust," "Gigantic," "Below," and "Ashen" on the Xbox One console.
