Tinder Snapchat
Dating app fans reportedly have something exciting to look forward to with Tinder as it plans to incorporate Snapchat-like feature in its system. This has been possible following its acquisition of Wheel.
Wheel is a start-up group based in Los Angeles. With it around, the world-famous online dating platform would eventually become capable of sharing video stories.

While there have been no reports yet about the amount involved in acquiring Wheel, a number of tech sites have speculated that there is a huge chance the Snapchat-like Stories feature would soon be found in Tinder. However, it has been noted that this remains to be confirmed by the company. So far, Tinder has not yet commented on the rumors.
Meanwhile, the Deccan Chronicle reported that with the trend among social media networking sites these days, wherein video sharing has become a necessary feature, it is not impossible that Tinder would follow suit. It can be noted that Facebook-owned Instagram's Snapchat-like feature has been gaining grounds in the social media world.
In an interview with Business Insider, one of Wheel's cofounders, Paul Boukadakis, revealed that discussions for the acquisition started few months back. The other cofounder is Chris Shaheen.
"What we were doing with content was all about connecting a young demographic around creating content together," Boukadakis said about the merger of Tinder and Snapchat-like app Wheel. "There was a lot of synergy with what we were doing and what they were doing."
He continued to dish that the agreement began when he showed the app he developed with Shaheen to Tinder chairperson Sean Rad.
In the meantime, Boudagakis, who is set to become Tinder's VP of Special Initiatives, shared that it was their aim in designing Snapchat-like Wheel to "lower the barrier for entry to content creation" and "make connecting more comfortable."
