Xbox One Backward Compatibility: Every Major Game Tested
After releasing the "Grand Theft Auto IV" on the Xbox One backwards compatibility list, Microsoft moved on to introduce two more titles on the BC feature. Prior to capping off the week, the titles "Hitman: Absolution" and "Rage." The latter is also now available on digital download, making it even more accessible to players who want to try the game.

In 2016, some of the biggest titles that arrive on the feature include "Red Dead Redemption," "BioShock Trilogy," "Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City" and "The Elder Scrolls V: Oblivion." Unfortunately, the highly anticipated "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" is noticeably missing from the list of Xbox One backwards compatibility list.
Despite the "Black Ops 2' garnering the highest vote on the Xbox One backwards compatibility update, Microsoft is unable to confirm the game. In late 2016, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" briefly appeared on the BC feature, but unlike the "Red Dead Redemption," the game was never playable.
Since January 2017, Microsoft has brought new titles to the Xbox One backwards compatibility mainly "LEGO Indiana Jones, " "Strania," "The Splatters," "Mega Man 10," "Battlefield: Bad Company 2," "Dragon Age Origins" and "Battlefields 3."
Players who previously owned copies of the game on the Xbox 360 console will automatically find the game on the Xbox One. Otherwise, it's necessary to purchase and manually download the game in order to play it.
Meanwhile, Microsoft has also released the Xbox One Games with Gold for February and it includes "Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime," "Project Cars Digital Edition" and "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed." Take note that all games are ready for download at the end of February.
